The project was successful as the client implemented the design changes, and the current user base received them well. There were some minor design backlog items to resolve; otherwise, this project was successful.
The AIO calibration software had been in the marketplace for the client for a few years. The functionality was solid, but the user's experience and interface needed more attention and care. The initial MVP efforts were still in place, and it was staring you in the face.
Improving the software's functionality requires a thorough review of its user experience and interface, including researching to ensure that the interface is visually complete and has all the essential features. Having a polished and comprehensive user interface is crucial in gaining user buy-in.
To ensure I was well-informed, I interviewed the client to understand their internal and customer needs. After that, I created high-level wireframes to present to the client to confirm that we were on the right track and to get their approval. We continued to repeat this process until we achieved the final solution.
bertmahoney.com was made for you by me—Bert—using WordPress with the Semplice theme, a variety of plugins, a sprinkling of custom programming for effect, lots and lots of coffee—actually too much coffee—and 90's hip-hop.
